A Virgo Story: Diana Ganem in See The Sign Tapestry

For the launch of our latest product — See The Sign Tapestry, we asked a select few to assist with the release by sharing their stories through the lens of their zodiac sign. We hope you find the human in fellow strangers, see your reflection in those who walk the Earth beside us, and move with compassion during these times. Immense gratitude to those who opened their heart and participated with us. Next up, meet: Diana Ganem ~ Creator of Nightswim. 

WE ASKED: TELL US, WHO ARE YOU?

My name is Diana Ganem, born in Mexico with roots in Southwest Texas. Nowadays, you'll find me in the beach towns of Costa Rica and LA. I'm simply a spirit experiencing life via a human body — remaining open, receptive, and as graceful as possible. Always willing to explore the many mysteries of life and devoted to sharing Nightswim.  

WE ASKED: DIANA, WHAT’S YOUR LIFE MISSION/PASSION/INSPIRATION?

My mission is to express and create with intention —  by being the truest me while uplifting others along the way and remaining mindful of the way I walk this Earth.

My passion is to grow Nightswim so that I can positively impact as many lives as possible. I want to empower women and make them feel damn good in my creations, whether it is by the actual garments, the values behind the brand, or community building.

Living a large part of my life abroad has taught me so much about finding happiness outside of materialism. I'm passionate to share this, via experiences and practices with a community — bringing people together to grow, feel accepted, fully expressed, and inspired.

I am inspired by others who pursue their missions and live a life full of fervor. The ones who live life adventurously, uninhibited. Those who are empowered but most importantly do good for the world. The open-minded thought provokers, the curious ones who are courageous enough to live in full alignment with themselves.

WE ASKED: WHAT’S BEEN A CHALLENGE IN YOUR LIFE? HOW DID YOU DEAL WITH IT OR HOW ARE YOU DEALING WITH IT?

Losing my father to cancer was one of the biggest challenges in my life, but from it, I gained so much — it's strange to speak this way sometimes. But in reality, it gave me so much wisdom. I learned what fearlessness is and I saw the world differently, I wanted to be a better human. I don't necessarily know how I dealt or deal with it other than practice presence, tap into gratitude, and breath consciously.  

WE ASKED: WHAT CAN WE DO TO SUPPORT? HOW CAN WE SUPPORT YOUR LIFE MISSION/PASSION?

Asking for support isn't one of my forte's. Too often, I find myself playing into the Ms. Independent I-can-do-it-all role. But here it goes — you can support my life mission by shopping Nightswim, sharing the brand with your community, and by participating in my events and activations. I am also welcoming new opportunities to further grow into the immersive event space and develop a destination location — partners, investors, or angels interested in growing this part of Nightsiwm with me.

WE ASKED: HOW DO YOU RELATE TO YOUR ZODIAC SIGN?

Virgos females are known to be down-to-earth, self-sufficient, realistic, ambitious, witty, type-A people  —  I can see myself in some of these traits sans the witty and type A characteristics. I do feel that my critical eye and bluntness get the best of me at times.
