I'm excited to share this project with you, not because it's a new product launch but because I truly feel a dose of Leigh Cariaga is what we all need right now. 

You see, Leigh and me, just sync — we've spoken countless hours on worldly issues like vaccine mandates, astrology, Moroccan adventures, and art direction, in particular, her art. Her intuitive spirit, artistic sensibilities, and understanding of the fashion world, which have impressed Mara Hoffman (one of my idols) — surely captivated me at first. But this gem is so much more, she's that gal who inspires you to live freely and shares the tools to do so. I always knew we'd create and express ourselves together. AQUARIUS

Aquarius, although known as the water-bearer, is an air sign, which are associated with the mind. Similarly, cranes are typically found near water, but also have the ability to fly. Cranes are a symbol of wisdom as they are considered to be one of the oldest birds in existence.

 

PISCES

Pisces is said to have two rulers: Jupiter, the planet of prosperity, as it’s traditional ruler, and Neptune, the planet of dreams and illusion, as it’s modern ruler. The two goldfish swimming in opposite directions are a symbol of luck and Pisces elusive nature.

 

ARIES

Aries is the first sign of the astrological calendar. It is also the first sign of Spring season. The sprout or small leaf represents the first sign that the seeds we’ve been planting are starting to grow.

 

TAURUS

Taurus is ruled by Venus which is the Goddess of love, beauty, and fertility. Rabbits have long been considered symbols of fertility and the desert rabbit used in this tapestry represents Taurus earthly nature and their ability to endure and persevere.

 

GEMINI

Gemini are the twins and it’s dual nature represents exchanging of ideas and communication. They are tend to be considered to be social butterflies focused on understanding the human condition through analytic conversation.

 

CANCER

The eye symbolizes protection and motherly intuition. Feathers also often signify the love and protection of ancestors and guardians. Cancer is a water sign ruled by the moon which is feminine embodiment of comfort and maternal energy.

 

LEO

Leo, the Lion, ruled by the sun, represents heart, courage, and creativity. The bottle of love potion represents Leo’s innate ability to attract and inspire others with their big and captivating personalities.

 

VIRGO

Virgo is represented by the harvest maiden who brings abundance to your bounty. The fingers crossed represents good luck and protection while the butterfly close by symbolizes the connection to nature in a pure and delicate way, a representation of the virgin.

 

LIBRA

Libra, ruled by Venus, is an air sign that so elegantly demands that beauty exist in the world. The lotus, despite it’s obvious outer beauty, is able to grow even in the dirtiest of waters. This is a testament to Libra’s balance.

 

SCORPIO

Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, the planet of transformation. The snake that winds around, nearly eating itself, is a symbol of the circle of life. Birth and death are Plutonian reminders that within destruction, there is always creation.

 

SAGITTARIUS

Sagittarius, a mutable sign ruled by Jupiter, is represented by independence, optimism, strength, and ability to survive in new environments and situations. The mighty cactus bears similar characteristics as it is able to grow tall in barren environments because of its ability to store water in its body for future use.

 

CAPRICORN

Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, is a sign of responsibility, and determination. They are an alchemy of Earth, much like mushrooms, they are able to create immense value from what outwardly seems like nothing.
